This artistic seat is on the extension to the old quay that was made to add the tidal lock gates to the harbour. Beyond the modern concrete wall can be see the 18th century watchtower with its oriel window looking out to sea. On the headland is the Wellington Lodge and the 'Candlestick' monument.
