| All day long the crowds that packed Whitehaven town centre were kept entertained by musicians in and around St. Nicholas church gardens. |
| These included Cornish reggae band Ramshaka and Whitehaven's own trad jazz band the Bayou Rhythm Kings. |
| As well as entertainers there were marquees selling locally made produce, charity stalls and samples of rum. |
| In the market was a CFM roadshow and by the harbour all the fun of the fair. |
