| Here the procession continues down Scotch street with large crowds packing the pavements and every available vantage point. |
| Apart from the queen's floats there were others entered by schools, pubs and community groups. |
| Floats included the one above from Barajacks with its Ibiza sand, sea and sunshine theme and the one below with a Euro 2000 theme. |
| It's not every day you see four steam powered traction engines trundling down Duke Street or in fact a diesel railway locomotive on Scotch Street but these exhibits from the following day's vintage rally joined the procession. |
