The M.V. Balmoral

This passenger ship built in 1949 arrived in May for
trips to and from the Isle of Man. The ship is operated by Waverley Excursions who also
run the paddle ship Waverley which has been to Whitehaven in the past. The first trip on 9th May came from I.O.M. to a trip along the Cumbria coast. Two voyages on the 13th and 14th May took people from Whitehaven to Douglas with a steam train link up to Port St. Mary or a cruise around the Calf of Man. |
